NOMADS 7TH IN UK Cranfield Nomads progressed their campaign as one of two sides from the East-of-England region having qualified for the U19 National Netball Clubs tournament in Blackpool earlier this month. Competition was expectedly strong as the countries best 18 squads gathered for this prestigious event. Nomads campaign got off to a great start with four wins from their first four games. With two group stage games remaining, they needed just one win to secure semi-final placing, but fate had left them with the two favourites, last year’s Champions Oldham and the infamous Parkside from the West Midlands, to play and that elusive win was not forthcoming. Nomads excellent day finished with an impressive seventh place overall in the final national ranking.
